4. Andriy Yarmolenko (Ukraine)
With some of European football’s biggest clubs reportedly chasing him, Yarmolenko did his profile no harm as he put Ukraine 1-0 up against Slovenia.
The goalkeeper’s punch from an inswinging corner was poor as Yarmolenko, 26, was able to pluck the ball out of the air with the deftest of touches inside the area. With two defenders rushing out to close him down, he moved the ball onto his right foot to create space before firing the ball in low into the opposite bottom corner.
Ukraine drew 1-1 in Slovenia to seal a 3-1 aggregate victory and their spot in France.
