Arsenal and Tottenham are reportedly set to go head-to-head in a race to sign Spain international forward Alvaro Morata this month, according to Talksport.
The Premier League duo, who sit third and fourth in the league standings respectively, are interested in signing the Juventus striker before the close of the January transfer window next week.
The 23-year-old, who has six international caps for his country, has managed to score just one goal in 19 league appearances for the defending Serie A champions this season.
Morata, who joined the Turin outfit from Real Madrid in a deal worth €20m back in July 2014, is the subject of enquiries from the North London rivals as the striker looks to rediscover his form ahead of this summer’s Euro 2016 campaign.
The report also suggests Leicester City and Sunderland are interested in Morata’s services before the close of the month.
