Top 10: Football League transfer targets for Premier League clubs
7th January 2016

Name: James Maddison
Position: Forward
Club: Coventry City

James Maddison has scored four goals in 27 first-team appearances for Coventry City.

Touted as one of the Football League’s brightest prospects; Arsenal and Liverpool have been previously linked with moves for Coventry City’s £10m-rated striker James Maddison.

The 19-year-old, who graduated through the Sky Blues’ youth academy set-up, has bagged two goals in his last four games for the League One outfit after returning from an ankle injury.

Coventry boss Tony Mowbray has no doubt about Maddison’s potential to play in the Premier League, but he is desperate to cling onto the club’s prized asset as the Sky Blues currently sit just four points behind league leaders Burton Albion in the fourth-tier of English football.
