Top 5: La Liga 2015/16 wonderkids
19th August 2015

1. Zakaria Bakkali (Valencia)

Widely regarded at the next big thing, Zakaria Bakkali boasts extraordinary pace and dribbling skills that will terrify any La Liga defence. A precarious attitude to go with it, he winger arrived at Valencia on a five-year deal after his contract with PSV ran out this summer. The Spanish club fought off interest from all over the globe, including various Premier League sides in order to secure the youngster’s signature.

The 19-year-old managed nine goals in 32 starts during his time at PSV although, he only managed one assist. Some may accuse Bakkali of being too selfish but as he gains experience in the Spanish top flight a new maturity will develop in his play. The forward possesses an incredible amount of potential and looks set to blossom at Valencia this season.
