Arsenal are reportedly closely monitoring Senegal international midfielder Henri Saivet.
The Premier League outfit, who drew 1-1 with Norwich City on Sunday in the English top-flight, are understood to be scouting the £3.5m rated Bordeaux star ahead of the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old, who has 14 international caps to his name, has scored three goals in 22 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 side so far this season.
Having started his career as a forward; Saivet has flourished this season in France in a deeper role at Bordeaux, being deployed into the central midfielder role with greater effect.
However Arsene Wenger’s Gunners are not the only Premier League side to have picked up upon the Senegalese’s scintillating form this term, with Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Everton, Tottenham and Swansea City also said to be running the rule over Saivet’s services ahead of the New Year period.
