Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a ‘big-money’ move for Colombia international James Rodriguez, according to Goal.

The 13-time Premier League champions, who currently sit sixth in the league standings, have been long-term admirers of the Real Madrid attacking midfielder.

The 24-year-old, who has 34 international caps for his country, has scored three goals in just 12 appearances for the La Liga giants so far this season.

Rodriguez, who arrived at the Bernabeu shortly after the 2014 World Cup for a reported €80m from AS Monaco, has seemingly hit a rough patch in his Madrid career this year having failed to complete a full match under new manager Zinedine Zidane.
