Tottenham are reportedly closely monitoring the progress of Lille starlet Sofiane Boufal.

The Premier League outfit, who currently sit eighth in the table following Sunday’s 2-2 draw against Swansea City, are monitoring the highly-rated France midfielder following his impressive start to the campaign.

The 22-year-old, who also qualifies to represent Morocco, has already scored three times in eight Ligue 1 appearances so far this season.

Boufal, who only joined Lille from recently promoted Angers SCO back in January, has already been tipped to become the club’s natural successor to Eden Hazard, despite making just 24 first-team appearances overall.
