West Ham United could reportedly make a whopping £25m summer move for Nigeria international Odion Ighalo, according to the Brentwood Gazette.
The Premier League side, who drew 2-2 with League Cup finalists Manchester City last weekend in the league, has set their sights on signing the in-form Watford striker at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
The 26-year-old, who has five international caps for his country, has scored a sensational 15 goals in 23 league appearances for the Hornets this season.
Ighalo, who arrived at Vicarage Road originally on loan from Serie A side Udinese back in July 2014, has also been linked with a switch to La Liga giants Atletico Madrid following his impressive displays this term in the English top-flight.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic would like to win the race for Ighalo’s signature this summer ahead of the London outfit’s first campaign at their Olympic Stadium, with Watford wanting at least £20m for their star striker.
